im wondering if its worth getting a rear sway bar. if so, i want to get one that i can bolt on and not have to modify a bunch of stuff. i have a dual exhaust installed, on my 74 comet
whats the status of the rear swaybars? still available? how much?
    thanks

Received an email from John today. The bars are supposed to be made up next week. He did not give a shipping date.

Reason why I didnt jump in when I had a chance..too many issues and too long of wait

I found a guy that'll do a one off cheaper then this whole groupguy..and yet cheaper if I'd do a groupbuy
When I'm Ready I may even drive the car there to possibly avoid issues ive read in this thread.

I seriously hope the upcoming bar/shipment is a success perfect fit this time around!

I'm not involved in this, but I always see this thread come up.

How hard can it be to take the dimensions of their existing Maverick sway-bars and just make the diameter larger?

The whole thing seems pretty ridiculous to me.

It is, considering this is what they do. They've had my money for almost a year, I've payed tax and brokerage fees on a set that didn't fit, I refused to pay again on the second set, and who knows if they will follow my shipping instructions on the third. I called, and asked for a refund, and all I got was the run around. I will never, buy from them again, or suggest anyone else do the same. I don't blame anyone but them.

The problem is not exactly with making a larger diameter bar. Its making it adjustable they seem to be having issues with. They for whatever reason couldt grasp the concept of how adjustable is supposed to work. I've got 4 bars now that will be fine "larger diameter bars" with minimal fitting or adjustment to make them work. I've raced on 2 of them already and they work. I wanted an adjustable bar and thats what we all paid for. Now it looks like I'll be getting a 5th bar that STILL doesnt suit my needs.

Looks like I'll be modifying my lower control arm to use the closest adjustable bar they gave me and I'll have 4 to sell to anyone that wants one.

John emailed me today. He appologized for not gettting the bars out. With the snow they have been getting, they can't get in the delivery of steel that they need to make them. He did not give an expected delivery date.
