Does anyone know what power brake bracket for the master cylinder will work on a 1973 Maverick 4dr with a 302 2v? My car is currently manual brakes and I want to up grade it so my wife can use it as a back up car (she has never had a car without power brakes or steering) . So I would like to upgrade the brake system. Right now it is still manual drum on all 4

First thing you need to do is convert to disc brakes. This will be about an 80% improvment over drums. Then....if you want to add a power booster to the disc brakes, you can, but in my opinion it is only about 10% improvement over disc brakes.

I agree with Craig on that.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice. What rotors, spindles, and calipers do I need to find to convert drums to disc brakes?
