I am in the process of an R&C RC-106. Pretty much the same as above, but his has coilovers, mine has regular shocks.

It is a bit of work.

He has a thread about his install, and I am in the process of installing mine, and there is a LONG thread about that process.

His install was pretty much a straight-up done deal. Mine has all sorts of hitches and glitches.

Goes to show that if you try to do it on a tighter budget, you will end up having to work harder.

So if at all possible, buy one of the entire kits, or at least stick with the same company and product, and try not to mix and match parts.

Rod and Custom are good and easy guys to work with. They will ask you what car, year model, engine, etc you are using, and make sure that when you buy parts, they will work with your setup, and not let you buy parts that wont fit, as well as remind you that "if you are using X, you will need to buy parts Y and Z to make it work".

I don't see just a rack & pinion for stock set up. I know 2 of the Hanhs cars have R&P with the stock maverick suspension set up. Contact Slick on here and he can find out for you.

RRS sells one but it is pricey. I am installing that set up on the car that I am building. It is very straight forward but you will need to modifiy the steering column. Not to bad of a task if you get the proper length figured out.

If I did it again I would have gone with the Rod and Customs kit just because when the work is done you there is a lot more that you gain from that kit.
