radiator question

    is the 77 250 -6 the same as a 302? thanks

    im not posative but i think you can use the 250 radiator with the 302

    If the 250 had air cond. it will be the same, a 3 row. If it did not it will be a two row. It will physically fit but will not run as cool and could even make it run hot depending on if it is clogged up after years of use. I would always go with a new radiator a 3 row at AutoZone is 170.00. I've had mine 3 years and never had a problem.

    dunno about the 250, but I can say for certain the 200 has a different radiator.

    If you can get a parts house to cross reference radiator part numbers between the 200, 250 and 302, you'll have a bit more info.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    I believe the 250 radiator has a smaller inlet and outlet as well.....for smaller hoses. The ones I have do.
