Will this radio fit my 1973 Maverick?

AM FM RADIO KNOBS ARE 5 3/4 INCHES A PART CENTER ON CENTER, ITS 7 INCHES SIDE TO SIDE, 6 1/2 FRONT TO BACK, ITS 2 3/4 TALL. FOMOCO PART # D8AF19A241-4A 7A2600878. NOT SURE OF ALL THE CARS THIS WOULD FIT.YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGURE THAT OUT. 65 66 67 68 69 70 71 72 73 74 75 76 MUSTANG COUGAR THUNDERBIRD ELITE.

Also which other Fords used the same AM/FM radio as the Maverick?

Thanks. I got it and it fit fine. It said on the top it was from a 77 Thunderbird, so these Ford radios seem to be all interchangeable.

    Yup

With the exception of the 70-72 LTD's and a couple of others
I can't think of right now, all Ford Shaft type radio's are the same
physical size with the same shaft spacing. In fact I have a 1984
AM/FM mono radio from a F/250 in my 76 Stallion and it was a perfect
fit for the original AM radio plate.
