    Got the front and rear residual valves positioned and purchased all the right connections along with a flex line....

    Brake light switch...

    You might want to look into some "Bear Claw" or "Bear Jaw" door latches to replace those old dove tail latches. Those old dove tail latches are know to pop open when the body flexes, especially if they have a lot of wear on them.

    had no hoist to work under today...
    so car up on jacks....

    drilled a hole for the cable to go through...

    these are riv nuts...bolt size is 10-35 or something close to that....

    tranny oil cooler lines and cooler...

    yea, it's a mess...thankfully I opened it to look, no oil, just water...
    I'm sure the bearings are a mess too but will drive it and see what happens...

    cleaned up the oil pan
    installed gasket
    engine looked great

    the cam lobes look weird but might be ok...

    this is the first drive of his rat rod. its got some little things to do but it will be on the road in the next few days!!!

    Congratulations Mo! It's a great feeling when you fire up something you built from nothing and take it down the road.

    I was super nervous the first time I took my 31 down the drive, but after everything seemed to work I was giggiling like a little girl. That is till I stabbed the gas and learned that I needed to reinforce the panhard bar mount.

    I'm very excited. Can't wait to drive it home and drive it around town. There is very little more to do. Tighten some brand line fittings..... apparently if you don't then you get a squishy pedal....I have to tighten down the steering wheel.... fix a leaking radiator or maybe replace it...
