Rear Bumper Mounts (outer)

    I did some searching on the forum but just to confirm...'69/'70 Mustang rear bumper brackets are the ones that will work with the early Mav/Comet bumpers correct? I did some research a while back and read where a member used the '67/'68 brackets so I bought them and they are definitely too small. Before I return these and buy the '69/'70 ones I want to make sure they'll fit.:thumbs2:

    BTW, the donor bumper came from a '73 Comet if the makes a difference. It came with the mounts so I know first hand they are different.

    1973 Grabber 302 c4 Needs a complete restoration.
    The 69-70 Outers do not work. I believe the 69-70 inners work.The ones in the trunk.

    Thanks, I had a suspicion but there were posts where one said they used the '67/'68 and another used '69/'70. I have the inners and have had the bumper mounted with the '73 outer mounts but as most know they are too large and the bumper sticks out too far. Time to look for some mounts that will work.
