Not sure if the steering column will work, as the wiring is totally different. Wiring for the turn signal switch, starter switch, etc.

What is wrong with your column that you want to replace it?

hello craig&71 gold,my mavy is a69.5,the ignition switch is on the tray, wouldn't mind keeping it as original as possible, but this column is a bit worn, the steering wheel has play in the column, feels like bushing or bearing, the gear selector is worn and sometimes dose not stay in park, where the roll pin goes, very worn, turn signal cam is worn, but the signals still work, that's why i would like to install the one from the '75 four door mavy.any parts available for the old column,i can still drive the car,it's one the last items i would like to correct, before i put it in a body shop, any insight apreciated, thanks.oh as for the diffy,i'm going to keep the same one, will try to sell the 8 incher, thanks.

If your car is a 1969.5, then a 1975 column will not work. Totally different wiring harnesses, etc. It would be easier to fix your issues than to try and make a 1975 column work.
