rear quarters

    1974 2 door 302 Maverick, 1996 monte carlo z34, 1998 Chevy K1500 4x4 350 .30 over, 1979 cobra mustang 306 with a t5
    I have a 1974 that needs a lot of rear end bodywork, I found a 1975 that I am considering buying to use as a parts car, they are both 2 door. Will the sheet metal be the same? :huh:

    If the 1975 is that good...restore the 1975.

    the 74 is a factory 302 and it was my grandpas car, The 75 is a 6 cyl.
    plus I am going to go check it out tomorrow morning.

    It will be sooooooo much easier to take all the good parts off of the 1974 and put them on the 1975 then it would be to cut off and re-weld quarters on a rusty car. Just something to think about.

    the 74 is not rusty it is just the rear quarter panels that need replaced because it was backed into a light pole on the drivers side so it is crumpled up

    i think the rear quarters on any year 2dr maverick or comet are the same.
