frank, i think gene was refering to my rollcage as piping. dont know how genes mind really works.you know from texas and all j/k gene
Yep it looks great but I share the same issue with wood. I'm a measure 10 times then cut. Then call my brother before my circular saw meets an awful death. I can fix just about anything on a car and around the house but dont ask me to do wood work. I like machine fit parts. Wood sucks and trees hate me.
so this is such a popular thing to do in the maverick, how come? does it get rid of the weight of the seats?
This is the reason I did it. My dog was starting to wear the fabric on my mint rear seat, so I pulled the seat and put it in storage, and put this carpeted platform down for her to stand on while we are driving around. I want to keep the seat foam in good condition so it can be recovered to match whatever seats I end up getting up front. By then, the dog will be gone, so I won't have to worry about anymore damage.
don i plan on relocating my battery back there. mo, i am putting in a rollcage that would have gone right thru the back seat and didnt want to cut my mint seat up also no passengers just me and the little lady.and my monster speakers.
