Since it's nearly impossible to find replacement doors and rocker panels (what I have been looking for, for years), does anyone know of any cars that have body panels reproduced or are more readily available that have similar profile as the Maverick/Comet? I'm more of a junk yard scavenger, but in recent years it's harder to find anything useful, or even salvage yards that I can walk through and browse to see if anything would work, even in a 'patch' capacity for a door skin for the middle of the door, and the rocker panel below the door that has a slight radius to it, unlike the so called replacement ones on ebay...

Check out Joe Bayura jr. On the Maverick Comet Restoration site on fb.
If he doesn't already make it and sell what you are looking for maybe he will.
I have bought a few parts from them and they are of good quality.

I asked him about the rocker panel part many years ago, right after I messed mine up... said he didn't make them and didn't know when/if he'd ever make them again... so...

I've just recently bought 2 NOS passenger side outer rockers and 1 NOS drivers side inner rocker. I gave one of the passenger side ones to a friend of mine and I cut the other one up to splice in what I needed. I'll use the remaining piece to fix the drivers side. I thought I seen on here that Joe was making rockers though.

Doors, in my opinion, are easy to find.

As far as your rocker...if it is just a dent....pull it out or have it pulled out.
