I was running hot, lost power and my 77 Maverick stalled.
    Turns over but doesn't start.
    Head gasket is leaking.
    No water in the oil.
    #4 has 0 compression and 1,2,3,5 and 6 are at a low 75.

What is my best course of action?
    1. I can pull the engine and possibly savage what's left and repair it.
    2. I can swap it for a new 1989 Ford Thunderbird 3.8 fuel injected.

    Any advice on this helpful.

Depends on your plans for the car and what money you have to spend right now to buy parts with.
