Mavericks/Comets had about 3 (maybe 4 with LDO) seat versions.
The first generation of buckets were same frame and foams as the 71-2-3 Mustangs.
The last generation were Granada style.
The middle generation look like Pinto/Stang2 seats to me, but I don't know that one for sure.
I have had some 70-71 Torinos, by far the most appealing body lines Ford ever made IMO.
If I ever get a chance, I would get another.

Mine were not bucket cars though. A buddy did a 70 CJ GT with red buckets... I just assumed they used 71-2-3 Stang frames/foams. They looked identical to me.
Could you have been looking at 69-70 frames/foams?
    They are way different.
    Just a thought.

Torino buckets are not the same as Maverick buckets, but you might be able to get them to work...

I am not trying to be smart here, but have you seen a 71 Torino GT bucket seat?
A good friend of mine in Memphis has one and it looks just like a 71 Stang seat or 71 Maverick seat.
I know the covers and tracks are all different, but the frames/foams should be identical. The 71 Mav foam is 71 Stang foam.
