I saw a lemon lime green 1972 Maverick today. The bumpers were painted body color and it had a 302 with a blower sticking out of the hood. I talked to the guy for just a moment and didn't actually see under the hood. ...and yes, I did tell him about the forum.:D

while in colfax I saw a white 70 maverick setting at a roadside car lot
one of those old time car lots where they only sell older cars from like the 40's to the 80's and theyre just parked any ol kinda way.

well the mav had 3 flat what looked like original tires and both bumpers were bent the tail light panel was over lapping the marker light in the 1/4 panel. it was a 4 lug 200 I6 with a column shift 3 speed.

well for kicks I stopped and asked how much he wanted for it and he told me "Im going to try and get $2000" "its a one owner car" "a little old lady in the area bought it new"
I almost couldnt hold in the youre out of your mind lol

needless to say I didnt buy it lol but its a one owner car if anyone wants to race over and buy it :p

Saw this Comet in Pismo Beach today. Looks like the ocean air has gotten to it...rust holes all over it. Looks like somebody is still driving it regularly though!

I was driving through Whitney Tx yesterday not far from my house and sitting right next to a shop is a 71 2door mav. Stopped to talk to the guy and it has a 6 cylinder and pretty much rust free. He rescued it the day before it met the crusher for 400.00. Sadly he wont sell it. Good find though

I saw a brown four Maverick with white vinyl top, driving on Virginia Beach Blvd. Virginia Beach, VA. Didn't get a real good look as it was going the other way.

In Charlotte, NC 2 weeks ago saw a baby blue 76? across the interstate coming from North on I77 exiting onto Westinghouse Bvd at about 8am, sitting in dismal line of traffic on exit ramp. looked like it was in super nice shape, possibly restored with chrome dished steelies and mooncaps. If oyu are on here, my wife has the blue 72 at the ducati dealership on westinghouse. She said she had spoken to somebody in the area about one a few mos ago.looked good! (across 6 lanes of traffic going 75 mph):thumbs2:
