Flea market buy. Guy said it was Ford but didn't know what model or year. He had a lot of mystery parts and this one screamed for me to take it home. $10. It's a functional ratchet floor mount with the illuminated bezel included. It shifts smoothly and engages positively. It also has a few wires that go to who knows what.
I looked on Ebay at the Monza and Vega interiors and their floor automatics look different. Mystery shifter! P/N 363089
I would say GM as well, Mid 70s'Wires are for Shifter lockout? neutral safety/reverse lights.Funny though Plugs look mopar kinda sorta??Hey could be AMC.
I believe it's GM myself. I figured Monza/Vega myself the instant I saw it, but if you say it isn't... My old man has a Monza with 4 speed and his shifter has a finger lifted lockout just like that and the console has the same general shape. I don't remember what an auto shifter looks like though.
I think its GM as well. The plugs on the side made me say Hmm??Kinda mopar looking. But I agree GM liked to use the revlockout set up,so I feel it is most likely GM.
Killer, you guys know it all. Still worth $10 to put in the parts closet for who knows whats to come.
