Speakers? You're lucky, I just carry my iPhone in my pocket with the sound maxed out.

    Hmmm. Surround sound?

I have an old desktop computer, THX 5.1 surround sound (4 satellites, a BIG subwoofer) and I hardly ever use that computer anymore. I might be able to put it to good use....

I use an old boom box that the CD and the Cassette died on. I have thought about getting something newer where I can play some of my CD's on it.

Cool idea on a way to save counter space. My shop is very small. I think it is 16' x 24 or it may even be 12' x 20' I cant remember off the top of my head. Anyway counter space is at a premium in there.

    Thanks for the idea again,
    Bobo

We bought a wall mount cd player for the house last year and never could find a place to hang it, so I hung it in my work shop and mounted 1 speaker out in the garage and 1 in the work shop (the speakers detach). It also has an aux input on the back for mp3s. Works great.

I have since found out that the unit I bought at Goodwill....the "stereo" part does not work. Striclty a mono receiver. Not sure what is wrong with it. Still...for the price it was a good buy.

I have a similar stereo and I mostly just play pandora though it. I get tired of the constant commercials on the radio.
