every dyno place I've gone to has made me sign a waiver that there is no responsibility on their part. One place actually said in their paperwork that revving the engine high on the dyno pushes the engine to the extreme and the risk of damage is high and that the shop will take no responsibility.

My dyno guy did nothing like that, making me sign a waiver.

But he also let off at 6000 and I told him to go to 6500 on one and 7000 if it was still pulling at 6500.

Better safe than sorry. I don't think he had any intentions of paying me $600 for a new engine...:biglaugh:

I hope that did'nt happen after the shop had performed a tune on the engine. There are a variety of reasons with supercharged F/I engines that could have caused that to happen, in that power range. It is not likely that it was over-revved. It would suck to know that I had signed a waiver, and it was their tune/negligence that caused that to happen. But then again, there are always those freak things that do happen (unexspected engine parts breakage), they're just not heard of with those engines. They are manufactured to handle/produce much more than they have in show-room condition. Just my 2 cents, (currently trading at 1 cent).
