    In before see granada/comet/mav spindles
Anyhow, does any know if mustang ii or pinto spindles could possibly work on Mavs?? Is it possible to get new spindles because the ones I have are ROUGH and I took my spindle cap off yesterday to discover my red grease is now milky and silver. So preparing for the worst, could I do this with a tie rod swap? Could I also perhaps cut the arms and swap them so I use the new spindles? Thoughts?

Mustang II or Pinto spindles will not work as they are a front steer spindle and a Maverick/Comet is a rear steer spindle

Spindles from '68-'71 Torino, Fairlane, Falcon, Ranchero, Cyclone, Montego etc fit, also '68-'73 Mustang & Cougar are same as the intermediates... They are not like the Granada type so would need the brackets, calipers, soft lines etc...

I have '69 Torino brakes on my Comet...

Back when many of us did the disc swap we had to find spindles from a donor car. Fortunately everything to put disc brakes on a Maverick is now reproduced. These guys have everything.

    Thank you Eric!
I've looked on there before but seemed to miss the granada spindles
Will the 67-73 spindles also work with '74 Comet calipers, pads, etc.?

I have never had a '74 with the factory disc, so I'm not sure. 1974 was the 1st year Ford put disc brakes on these cars and there were a few differences in that 1st year. But I just checked the parts catalog and it shows the same calipers listed for all '74 and up disc brakes.
