I have one those mid 70's Sport Steering Wheels off a Mustang 2(it has the red Mustang horse head for the horn button-possibly from a Stallion). I want to put it on 74 Mav me & my buddy got, but I was looking at some others on e-bay & noticed some differences.
Mine does not have the horn contract plate like all wheels do & there are no finger spokes-it's just smooth. I saw some ebay wheels & some have the finger spokes & some don't, but the biggest deal is most have the horn contact plate underneath. So, were the ones that went on Trucks/Broncos have the horn contacts or was the ones that went on the cars had them or no horn contacts like the one I have??? I'm very confused, any insights to this? So I guess I can't use this on my stock 74 column? I'd sure like to, but no horn...hmmmmm Thanks:bowdown:

Mustang IIs had the horn on the turn signal lever I think it was. No big deal. Just put it on and you wont have a horn. I haven't had one in years. If you really want to you can put a push button for the horn under the column or somewhere hidded.
