Yes, it will work on your Maverick. These steering wheels usually go for a pretty high price on eBay. Good luck...

TL I thought you said you tried one of those truck wheels and it didn't work? Maybe it was someone else.

It looks like my Mustang II wheel, but its off a F series, so I don't know for sure about the ignition lock and horn stuff working right.

Gaucho, I would guess that this wheel would work on your Maverick.

Some of them do not interchange, I am not sure which.

Charlie, the one I tried years ago was from a '79-'83, which will physically bolt on but will not cancel turn signals nor will the horn operate. It was from you guys that I learned that '74-'78 will work, and I have two of them now.:D One is real leather and the other is fake. I adapted the short-horns emblem (yes, I copied you guys) to the horn button and it looks and works great.(y) Just goes to show that you can always learn something new from the people here.

The fake leather one is on my car now and when I can save up to have the real leather re-done, I will swap them. No pics yet but plan to get some taken in the near future.

$120? I saw the Mustang II version of this wheel at Carlisle for $35. The Cobra II version was going for $60.

I have seen them for $5 and for $200.

    They are fairly common.

I just picked one up in exchange for a driver's side sport mirror. My center clear lense has a crack in it. Anyone got an extra?

$293? Wow ... I'm afraid to use mine now! :) The logo in mine is the steerhead out of a door emblem. Actually ... it was an NOS insert I had that was never mounted in the door emblem .. I had a set and a guy at work made a Belt Buckle out of the other one for me ...
