Start / Run - Coil wire voltage ?

    I did not post my question to them - but the question was about adding the Pertronix #2001 relay to get 12v to the coil and if it was OK to attach the choke to that same relay.

    So his answer was a yes, it is OK to run both the coil and choke off their #2001 relay set-up. Which is what I did today. I did add the 10 amp fuse to the choke, as Holley recommends.

    OK, gotcha...

    I used a genuine Bosch relay that was in some sort of GM wiring harness I found in a car I bought back in '80s or '90s... Whatever it was had never been installed, still boxed up as new... I'd cut the relay & connector out sometime in past, think I was going to use it in the Comet but decided to go with the Painless relay/fuse panel setup... Did I mention I love free stuff???
