Steering box... should I or not...

    This forum rocks Krazy comet had the solution for me. Under the endcap the nut Was completly loose. Tightening it work for me. No more sloppy steering.

    Ahhh, glad it was that simple....

    When the preload is badly misadjusted it's possible for ball stud it pop out of valve, meaning you'd have no steering...

    It's a common misconception driving wothout P/S operational will cause it to pop out, but only if it's badly worn and/or misadjusted... A valve without excessive wear and proper preload will not come apart...
