swaping small bumpers on my 74 mav

    is it easy to convert my bumpers to thte blade bumpers because right now i have those big ugly 1s that weigh a ton

    Yes! i did the swap on my 75. The hardest part is finding the parts.

    69-72 Front Bumper
    69-73 Rear Bumper
    69-72 Front Bumper Brackets
    69-72 Rear Bumper brackets(you can get them at a mustang parts store, 68' will fit)
    69-72 Front Stone guard(filler panel between bumper and grill)
    69-72 Front Valence
    69-73 Rear Valance(or you can use a 69' Mustang Valence)

    You'll also need to cut out the frt lower part of the fenders so the stone guard will fit. I trimmed mine out (on a car I used to have) and rolled the edges in with a homemade tool I read about in another forum.

    I trimmed the stone guard :yup:

    much easier than trimming the fender.
