tachometer location

    Simple answer for me: I don't have a shift light. And since it's a street car I don't intend to install one. I'm trying hard to keep my interior "non-race car" while still having the essential performance upgrades. I did take great care to keep it from blocking other gauges though. It's certainly not about showing everybody I've got a tach, else I wouldn't have chosen a small, black one.

    i watch my tach when im stageing to controle what launch rpm im at. the closer to the windshield the easyer it is to see the tach and tree at the same time. also like to know what rpm i go through the traps at. i just use the shift light for shifting.

    Maybe I'm spoiled Bryant, I've got a datalogger and computer for both of those. LOL It makes sense though.

    Same here, pretty much automated. Still have a shift light but thinking of shift solenoid for the Glide.
    I need all the help I can get.
