Mine is on jack stands so no bets lol. I might bring my sons 75 Comet. We took it last year and the car it self didn't win. We got a prize for furthest driven. I actualy live in Marietta OK. It's all a day of meeting up and seeing each others progress if any lol.

It will be great to see everyone whether they bring a car or not!

We like to see cars in progress.....in fact, I have found one is never done with their car!

Current tally attending the Texas Mini-Meet:

    • 13 people [or families] have discussed going.
    • 10 people have talked about bringing a car.
    • 5 or 6 cars are definite.
    • Usually one or more shows up unannounced.

Maybe we can break our record of 10 cars....hint...hint.:D

Sorry to hear you aren't going to make it, Frank. (Sounds like some good alternative entertainment, though).:D

I just got a call from Russel Huffman. He's going to make it in from the Ft. Worth area for the meet. Unfortunately his motor just sucked some valves, so we won't be seeing his Maverick.

Going to bed now so I can get up early. I'll be meeting popbumper and rwbrooks50 at IHop at 6 for a quick bite. I will stop at the WalMart on the way to see if anyone is there. If I recall, leaving the WalMart at 8 makes us late to the show. So 7:30 is depart time from there I guess, unless someone else chimes in.

I made to the Meet and back home. Ran out of gas on the way home, gas gauge is not working. BluGene was there to rescue me.

We had good time; even though, we were small in numbers. :bananaman

Thanks to Doug, Texas Grabber, for setting the meet up for us. BluGene never got any BBQ ribs.

We missed seeing you, Frank! (Hard to believe there's 52 weekends a year, but there are always conflicts)!

I posted some pictures on the general forum: Texas Mini-Meet 2009 Pictures
