    I was wondering which trunk mat would work the best in a 73 4door mav. Heres the options;
    Mustang coupe & convertable 65-68, 69-70, 71-73
    Mustang Fastback 65-68, 69-70, 71-73

    there was hole in the trunk and water got in and well a storm hit oregon 3 days ago but most of the state with out power and blizzard warnings, this is the first day with power we have had, so i went out opend the trunk and the water in my trunk froze. So a good portion of my trunk was one big chunk of ice.:biglaugh: I fixed the holes but my mat is moldy so i need a new one thanx for the help.

    Maverick specific mats are available thru Auto Krafters......no need to buy a Mustang mat.

    Just find out who AK gets them from.
    AK doesn't make stuff, it just resells stuff it gets from others, at a big markup.

    I didn't like the speckle pattern that Maverick trunk mats were available in and didn't want plaid in my Grabber. So I bought the material that matches the trunk splatter paint I used and cut my own. I used the plaid mat in my yellow car as the pattern.

    Spatter ...

    Dan:
    Would my 75s gray felt mat work as a template to fit a 72 trunk?
    They were probably same trunk floor, right?

    You got me wanting to dig out my 75 and empty the trunk to check...
    I cannot relate how big a mission that would be!

    As long as the felt has still held it's shape I'm sure it would make a good template.

    Autokrafters used my speckled mat as the pattern to make theirs. Gave me a free new one for loaning them mine.
