NO not Discus! what should i get the rear discs off of at the pull-a-part to fit my 73 mav?? anyone done this without bookoo's-O-cash?
Minimal modding on my part. I had already planned on lowering my car 2" so I didn't have to elongate the bolt holes as described in the writeup. All I had to do was grind the rear of the bracket flat (remove some casting) and bolt them up. It was virtually a bolt on deal. It took more time installing and re-flaring brake lines than it did installing the components. Franks writeup (in the link he posted) was the guide I used to do my swap. Get the components, print out the writeup, get on the floor in the garage with some tools and a grinder, and in about an hour you'll be done(with the install portion).
I see no one's even thought about the 90's Crown Vic discs. These are supposedly a near bolt on swap for the 8" rears.
the CVs i looked at have 1 cali. mounted front of the rotor the other to the back...my Linc. are both to the rear. ...Frank...:Handshake
