Well, now you gotta spank his ass beating him in the 1/4 and drifting, showing him what's the REAL deal.

but I gotta admit I like that s14, maybe with a 4.5 from a q45 would run ok.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
your "friend" should have at least given you credit for what you did. i'd confront him.

one of the pubs i work on did that test as well as hot rod magazine i think (probably borrowed stories) so note: the SR-20 was faster then the windsor... the excuse was not enough traction and to heavy. lol! sounds like a personal problem. lol!

now what i'm i going to do without the guy here that always use to say....

"ricers suck! i hate them! this is a maverick fourms why are we talking about ricers. go to a ricer fourms"

    god i miss him. :D

matter of fact tha same kid came up to me a while backat the lunch table witha tuner magazine cause he wanted to show me where they had featured a maverick down on the bottom of a page. i think it may have been yours maverick man, it definatly had a CF hood on it. i was kinda new to the game at the time and dont really remember any details

The only thing worse is having your freind set in his lawn chair and drink the beer he brought you for doing the work, while you are under his car and telling you are doing a great job.

I thought the SR20 was the Sentra SE-R engine. :hmmm:

LMAO... that guy is joking, but what's funny is a kid where I work really used to talk about his brother's Prelude like that, how they beat Mustangs and stuff all the time with it. I went for a ride in this "hotrod" one day. I believe I was in the middle of yawning when he said something about how you could feel the VTEC kick in. Huh? I guess I didn't notice... all I can say is he must have been racing V6 'stangs.

Yep thats a SR20DET, they are a 2.0L turbo 4cyl and from what I've read stock internals can handle up to 400HP no problem. On another note a family member had a 95 Nissan Hardbody truck and I always thought it would be cool to see one of those SR20's dropped in it.

he also told me that that engine was imported from japan and was unavaliable on the US market.

well that was his excuse for not having any of the stock gauges hooked up since they use a diffrent connection on imported cars and those made for japanese markets lol

Actually I believe he is telling the truth on that one. There are USDM SR20's but to my knowledge the SR20DET turbo version never came in a us car. :yup:
