    The only "scoop" that came factory on a 76 Vette is a "cowl" style hood.

    There are plenty of Maverick cowl hoods around, at least pics of them.

    The late 60s 427 hoods look good. L88 style with the stinger.

    ok the 76 corvette cowl...not bad, but I scrapped it for a 73 corvette cowl.yea that looks better

    73 Comet GT, 72 Comet GT, 2008 "Comet" (our boxer, who is now in the galaxies)
    I used to have a hood on my GT that had that L88 scoop on it. It was one of the best hoods I have seen. I have another one in the works. Both pieces just need to come together. I think it looks better on the Comet because of the hood design to begin with. Man, I had thumbs up everywhere. Advise: never forget to pin a hood that needs them to keep from blowing off. Someday I will have pics of it.
