Couple of questions concerning V8 swap...I'm considering buying a 4 door Mav for the V8 that's in it. My question is concerning the flywheel and bell housing. Will the manual tranny bell off of a 250 fit the 302? How about the flywheel? I bought all the parts to do the auto to manual swap a couple of weeks ago. If the bell and flywheel would interchange I would have all the parts minus the V8 Z bar. Does The Maverick Connection carry these? Your help is appreciated.

Bell housing is the same. I believe the fly wheel is different do to the balance differences. Yes the z bars are easy to find (Repop)

I think the flywheels are the same 28oz.

a 6-cylinder flywheel is 0 imbalance ... will not interchange. You need V8 z-bar mounts (both sides) to use a V8 z-bar ... will not work with 6-cylinder parts ..

Cool, Thanks for responses. I'll need a flywheel and Z bar + associated pieces.
