V8 throttle cable

    I know us mav guys are always looking for an alternative when we cant find the already rare parts.Although, lately I've been dilly-dally with mustangs I have found out that 79-86 mustangs throttle cable will work on mavs. Since they are in abundance go and pick from their decaying carcasses now. :cool:

    I have three mav v8 throttle cables for sale, people can file away that for later use. I can also get mustang throttle cables a dime a dozen.

    Most all of the 70's ford cars that had a 302 use a very similar cable... If you put a cable from a maverick next to a cable from a granada,monarch,LTD,Fairmont or lincoln/mercury car from the same era you wouldnt see much difference ,Plus they would all work ...

    yep... fact of the matter is.... i am using a granada throttle cable. have two v/8 mave cables also. just in case. the granada cable is about a half inch longer... maybe an inch? but it works!
