Not sure how it would have been removed. I’m the one guy who updates the VIN Lists. Quite possible I missed adding it but I don’t get any results searching for it on the site search.

You'd be surprised! I host a Maverick Comet Club International Mini-Meet at the Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza in Moncton every summer. We've had a s many as half a dozen cars with other owners whose cars are being built. Great way to network for help and parts, etc. This year, our Mini-meet will be 5pm on July 9th.

 

Stopped by a junk yard in southern Illinois and came across a few mavericks/comet grabbed the vin’s to add!

Unfortunately the green car dash tag was gone and I cannot make out the full door tag but I’ll add the pic below

 

Here's the 72 Grabber I picked up from David Adams (@mean_maverick). Got a rear spoiler with it and the doors, fenders are perfect. Will be looking for the components under the dash to put the factory AC back in it.

My dad and I are working on a project car together, a 77 Maverick in green.
Bout a hundred things wrong with it, but it "runs".

VIN Found! I just found the VIN from my Maverick Grabber I had in High School (and after)... I sold the car in 1992 and the kid who bought it rolled it shortly thereafter (totalled)... the kid survived, but my understanding was that the car did not..

1971 Comet 4 door, RIP as of 2022, was scrapped and crushed when the yard in Maine closed and sold all the cars to another yard. VIN: 1K30F508409
I pulled the heads, intake, carb, and linkages before it was taken to the crusher. Had planned on pulling the C4, but never got the chance.
