I think that was why the quotation marks were used with the work "close" not to be taken any more serious than just some close numbers :tiphat:

Paul, I see a gap you have in the 1970 St Thomas list. Is this just to show that from my car and older that these were the 69.5 version?

Nice job on the entire all years list :thumbs2:

    Thanks

Yep, that's what I was going to do, but I haven't had time to go through the rest of the thread to find the 'latest' Kansas 69.5 yet, so I left that part of the list 'as-is'.

I have also started to ditch the "images" so that the list looks more uniform. I will continue to chip away at the list to try to make it more user-friendly.

    Thank You for the Kudos!:Handshake

    Refer To POST #273

I decided to separate the 69.5 from the 70's just to get a better picture of where they belong.

I also just added some e-Bay VINs. I will try to add these and use the e-Bay item Number as a reference. When someone buys the car and is then lucky (smart) enough to come here, they can then have their username added. Since e-Bay is public domain, I see no problems 'borrowing' the VINs from there. IF someone purchases one of these e-Bay cars, and DOESN'T wish to have their VIN included on the list, I will remove it.

I am just trying to build the most comprehensive list possible.

There are picts of data stickers(maybe tags as well?) in the gallery that have VINs...

Thanks Krazy! I don't frequent the gallery that often. It sounds like a good place to look. I think that I could assign the username that posted the picture to the VIN if I listed them here?

You've been added to POST #273. I don't know if a 250 in a 1970 is odd, but you're the only one so far.;)

    Sounds like a plan...

The 250 was added sometime into the '70 model year... Would no doubt have been announced in a update to the sales catalog, but if the new/replacement page wasn't inserted, sales personnel may not have known that option existed...

Be nice to know when the 250 became available... I assume you car has the five lug suspension???
