I think like he copied some of the other data on the car's data plate into the listing. IIRC the body code for a standard 2 door Maverick is 62A.

I agree about the Data Sticker Info:

    1K91T13122862A35E3W74:
    [1K91T131228] VIN
    [62A] Body (2dr Maverick)
    [3] Colour (Bright Red)
[5E] Trim (Vermilion - Deluxe Woven Vinyl Bench)
    [3] Axle (2.79:1)
    [W] Transmission (C4 Auto)
    [74] DSO (Seattle)

    It all makes sense...

I just looked at your pictures in your gallery. If it's the blue car you are asking about, it does not have any of the Luxury Décor Option interior pieces, and if it has factory chrome trim down the side of the car, it isn't a Grabber. Having said all of that, I suspect it is a standard 2dr Maverick. Third and fourth digit in your VIN should be 91, if this is the case. 93 if it was a Grabber. BTW, I like that orange car in your gallery!!

It's not a Grabber, and it's not an LDO car (LDO Interior Trim Code would be "PE" for Blue Silver or "PU" for Tan). Your Trim Code corresponds to a Medium Blue, All-Vinyl Bench.

DAYUM!! That is a clean car! I wonder what's wrong with it? I noticed the "Unsafe Brakes" comment written on the windshield.

I've seen TONS of low mile cars in great shape on there. It's almost weird.

Excepting for Grabber, EVERY Maverick or Comet starts as a base model... You(or dealer) added the options that were most popular(or maybe not), whether it be vinyl top, bright window frames or maybe just wheelwell moldings(that could have been part of other optional packages)... That is unlike the previous models such as say '66/'67 Fairlane with Fairlane, Fairlane 500, Fairlane 500XL and Fairlane GT that each were a specific model with certain trim levels... For instance bucket seats were not available in the Fairlane or F-500, but were std in XL & GT(along with up scale door panels, dash trim etc)... GT also had V8 as std, could not be ordered with a 6cyl...

There are exceptions like the '70 Grabber, '72 Sprint, '76 Stallion and Comet GT that were option packages added to a base model, but the VIN & body ID still claim it's base Maverick/Comet...
