I thought that was very cool too! I said I know those photos! He said that some of the photos were in her high school yearbook.

I will definitely try and get some photos of the car the next time I go to his house. He lives about an hour from me. He buys and sells old cars. I'm sure he will sell this one too. He did tell my uncle that he had to pay more than he wanted to for the car.

My uncle said he could make out the VIN on the door sticker. He said it was a KC built car.

He also said my friend was able to get the car running off a jug of gas and that the motor ran well and the trans shifted good. My uncle said it has kind of a beige cloth and vinyl bench seat.

These pictures are great. Some of them are better than playing "Where's Waldo?" .... "Where's the Mav?"
It is so cool to look at parking lots full of cars back in the day.

Ouch! .... the guy thought the restaurant needed a drive-thru.

That Mav has the fake wire basket wheels that were a little popular for years in the early 80s. I had totally forgotten about those, probably because they were kinda' awful. Plain chrome wheel underneath, a center tower that was bolted on with the lug nuts, and then the wire basket was placed on there. The wire basket was secured to the tower by the center cap somehow, maybe threaded, maybe a set screw.

I had a set of those wheels on a 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible I had. What a pain to clean!!!
