I have a 1974 Maverick 302 engine and want to get a reproduction silk screen Motocraft or Autolite voltage regulator. I need to know the Ford part # of the voltage regulator that was used on that year.I think it was D0AF-10316-A,can any one tell me for sure if that's the correct part # ?

The repop regulators, in my opinion, are junk. Do a search on this board and you will see some threads on the subject. I would recommend a good NAPA voltage regulator, paint the top of it blue, and get a reproduction Motorcraft decal to stick on it. That is what I did.

Thanks.I just took the regulator that I had removed the cover and put the Blue Autolite silk screen cover on the regulator that I was already using.Looks good,I just wanted it for more color under the hood.

I bought a new electronic Motorcraft DZAA18832 AA on Amazon. Bolted right up and cured my flickering dome light problem. It is natural silver but could be painted. It looks pretty good but it is made in China. Costs about $30.00 and is very similar to the Standard brand which sells for around $15.00. Probably the same regulator with a Motorcraft cover.
