    I could probably meet you there at 11 am. I'd have to leave San Ramon around 9 am, and hope the traffic going North on the I-680 isn't too bad.

    I have a strange confession to make for someone who just bought a 302 V8 Maverick Grabber, but as I'm getting older, I've become terrified of driving on the freeways here. Then I slow down to 50 mph, which only makes things worse. I'm hoping I can curb my fears and make the drive to Reno, but the thought of it scares me. :90:

    I'm getting the car fixed up with new tires and sound system. I love driving the car around town, but I'm nervous about a long trip. :chillpill

    Made reservation at the Holiday Inn for the 9th & 10th of June, will be traveling south from northern Idaho on Hwy 95 on the 8th. Will stay outside of Reno that night than drive in on the 9th. Any one else from eastern Washington, eastern Oregon or Idaho headed down for this? If any one get a pre-registration form for this show, I would sure like to get a copy. Thanks

    as i posted early in this thread i'll be there on the 10th but may not be driving my maverick cause engine really needs rebuild i'll bring pictures although it's not much to look at ugly brown paint done by previous owner she called the car coco that's a nice word for the color my words would have to be s--t brown but not forever... probably just spend the day hope to meet as many of you folks as possible.

    Entry forms

    I have the entry forms. I'll make copies and send them, just pm me an address. The show and shine is open to EVERYTHING, including motorcycles and even bicycles! Registration is possible that day, but entries will be limited by space available, so pre-registration is the way to be sure. Show and Shine is $10, non-refundable. If anyone wants into the judged Mustang show I have that form too, late model $25, classic $35.
    "Trophies for Best Ford, GM, Mopar, Mustang, Other, Paint, Specialty and Truck, Best of Show, and Diamonds Casino awards." Plus a couple of Mav/Comet specific trophies.
    I may enter my FJ also, can't go on vacation without a motorcycle, where is that guy with the GPZ?

    Never noticed

    that Honda in your signature. Started with a CB400F Supersport in '77, wish I still had it. I'll be in the area for a couple of weeks, maybe we can do a ride?

    Rick, I got the entry form thanks, however they state the date for this is not in June, but APRIL 23,2006.

    Only 3 weeks to go!! :bouncy: Just kidding. They do an April show also, guess they sent me the wrong form, didn't notice. I'm guessing you can just write June 10th in big letters on it and send it in anyway but I'll call today.

    We need to know what is going on, this flyer says non-stop rock 'n roll music, games and raffles, dash plaques to first 100 participants , show and shine open to all, sponsored by local radio station!

    Ther is no info on a car show on a Saturday, only a so called Street Hop on Sunday April 23,2006.

    I just can't cross out the date and say I'm coming in June .

    Can You maybe regroup and tell us exactly just what is to take place?

    I booked my room, got the time off from work ( i work weekends) trying to get a driver so I can bring more then one car.

    Turns out it was my fault, wasn't expecting anything for April, thought they had two forms for June. Didn't look too close. Correct form and info pack on it's way yesterday.

    Watch the watch.
    Concentrate on the spinning watch.
    When I count to 10 you will be asleep.
    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
    Now forget all about April, all is as it was.
    When I snap my fingers you will awake and go out and buy 5 more mavericks.

    Or, you have an excuse to go lose some money in April.
