What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    Installed shock tower braces and front shocks. Shocks were a pita to install.

    ...I use a jack to raise/lower the suspension to remove the lower shock bolts.

    I put them on with the car on the ground so suspension was compressed. Jack would probably have been easier though.

    finished up the drivers side door..all it needs now is the final primer coats, sand and paint..
    started on the 2nd fender as well..primed it after i took it down bare ..waiting for that to dry so i blocked the chevelle for a bit..as i was doing this i realized that i had FORGOT to notch the fenders for the new small bumper (had a custom comet one i made last year from the biggy)...so now i ain't cutting them up..i'll be notching the stone guard..need to search and see how people did this before.

    Finally got to taking the front bumper, valence, and fenders off to get to the suspension. Took the driver's side spring, upper, lower a-arms, tie rods, and spindle off to make way for the disc brake change over. Tomorrow, the passenger side.
