    Today I'm going to the back 40 and removing the front end off of my 74 parts car in the pouring rain, GOT TARP?:rolleyes:

    didnt physically do anything to it but paid another $400 toward the build at the machine shop

    Installed idle solenoid and replaced pitted boomerangs w/ some vry nice surviror ones. Found no rust when the old ones were replaced. Tommorrow, install new thermo housing and cruize-inn later - if all goes well.

    No longer did I get to the donor car it stopped raining. I got the 74 front end removed, cleaning parts and making a list of parts needed. I will soon have 5 lugs all the way around! And power steering!

    I spoke with comp cams on it and they reccomended the 7.550", my measurement was 7 9/16", got the Magnum Comp Cams ones from Summit, Summit was about $20.00 cheaper than ordering from Comp Cams.
    Ordered them yesterday and should get them tomorrow!
