Here's a trick I've seen used when helping install windshields(no I've never trusted myself to go it alone)...

Before you apply the sealer strip, test fit the glass in the opening... Once you have it centered, place a couple 4" or so strips of masking tape on glass to cowl approx 18" form outside edge on each side... Smooth it on and then cut it at the point glass meets cowl, remove glass... When you get ready to install glass permanently you'll have a reference, just line up the tape strips...

Myself and the family hopped in the orange Grabber and drove it to Red Lobster. No reason....just wanted to drive it.

With help of friends we removed the stock 8" differential and started the installation of my 4.11:1 geared Trac Loc 9". I need to get the spring pads fully welded by someone better than I.
What are 3.00:1 open 8" differentials going for these days?

A good complete Maverick rear end goes for around $250 around here. The street rod guys want them because of the narrow width.

Complete housing with brake drums go around $125 in my neck of the woods. I have see people asking $150. If you find someone building a Model A style hotrod they like the Maverick short width and will pay more

Started cleaning up my headers. Going to shoot them with high temp paint and get the exhaust hooked up. Also installed a new high torque starter but haven't wired it up yet.

Racing this weekend and got through tech inspection got all 3 cars set up... Then the guy beside me had a massive car cover his rail car was under..little wind came up and flipped onto my brand new paint job.. Destroyed my car.. Crease and scratches all on the roof, hood has a few dings pretty deep and a 2 foot scratch.. Fenders all dinged up.. Haven't looked muh more I've been so disgusted.. All because he was too lazy to put his pegs in the legs to hold it down.. Then we got in a argument because he said it wasn't his fault.. Much more, was just a joke! The windshield is fine so ill be racing the next 2 days. Also heard there was another comet with a massive hood scoop so ill search trough the pits for a while looking for it in the morning.

Sorry to hear about the damage.
Sounds like the guy was a jerk and unwilling to stand up for something that was obviously his fault.
Go out and have fun and let us know how it goes.

Like I said to him, if I backed my trailer into your car, how would you feel about it? I'd be more then willing to pay your deductible for insurance..he just didn get it though. Hopefully I can still have some fun. I will be calling the insurance place to tomorrow to see how this is going to go.. The. I can have it put into the shop and bodywork done and repainted.. Some of this nasty dents are right on body lines.
It was heading that way VERY quickly but my father was there and got me away and dealt with the situation.. Good thing he was there.

I would think that, since it was his property that caused damage to your property, it certainly would be his responsibly to make it right again and cover your damages

    File in small claims court...

All you have to do is prove he was negelant in the manor he secured the cover....
