Definitely. Maybe bring track management into it?

Took the Green Beast out for a short test drive, all I can say is I gotta be careful hitting second gear and punching it, it gets sideways really quick!:yahoo:
I prolly have teeth marks in my seat now, I grew some real quick down there!

Ouch that really sucks, We had the very same thing happen only it was our best friend canopy that did it at the track, now not such a best friend as they didnt seem to think it was a big deal.

It didnt do much as far as dents but scratched the car up, oh the car was a Mystic Cobra with the special color changing paint which you cant even buy without having a BASF paint rep look and confirm the car is original. 2 weeks later some kid keyed the car all the way around the car so it got a new paint job.

Now every time I see a pop up near any car, mine or others I give them a lecture on anchoring it.

Hope the racing went better than the showing

    Specs on lighting ..

    Hi Tody:
The information is now up on my website www.cameoclub.com if you want to check it out ..I ' ll add the "drill bit " sizes for the bulbs and the smaller hole for the wire to go through the door and on to connections sometime next week.
I see you're putting a " spoiler set up" on your COMET .. on the fender extensions try a Carb Bolt Kit .. there are four in a pack , and I believe one end of the studs will work on the extension.. the other end you just find a nut ..
( One end is fine thread , the other coarse) ..Its easier with the studs.
    See Ya ..

Put the steering back together, bled the air out of it, set the throttle pressure on my new AOD, and went for a ride!!! Some weird vibration that comes and goes...but everything else is awesome!!

Hmm...Lets see...Drove the Sprint to the shop where my other mav sits waiting for me to touch it before the cold weather hits...Painted a few coats of SEM hotrod black on the chevell I put quarters on last week. Pulled the cover off my mav project and wondered if it would look good in hotrod black...LOL...Tried to convince a friend of mine who dropped by with his 56 Chevy 3200 P.U. that it would look good in hotrod black as well...Figured we could start our own club and call it the black list bunch...LOL...Too many paint fumes, I'm rambling. Time for bed. Oh!...Drove the sprint home and put it away for the night.

Now that I have the head work done on the blue 1976 4-door, I checked the timing today and adjusted the carb. Running so much better.

I took the green car out for a punishing shake down, and it passed!!! I love my new transmission, it shifts the way it should.

Got it out of the shop and gave it a bath, put it back in the shop and started prepping for touch-up painting.
