Finished rear axle vent into trunk and return fuel line. Also new bracket for the alternator and aluminum washer for the 6" long bolt.
Still hesitating about the tunnel. I have it cut out and because the left side of my reworked tunnel is much wider than the 71 I've cut, just not sure how to proceed.

Can you have one custom bent so it will work for you or maybe buy a preformed tranny tunnel from a race shop?

I don't want an aluminum tunnel is part of the reason. The other is that a local sheet metal guy told me he would do it for $600 and needs it for a week.
I will go out and see what I can do today...............then make up my mind. I'm an ok welder, but not a sheet metal guy.

$600 SEEMS high but may be within reason. Sheering and shapeing can add up. I can get a 4'x 8'x 14ga. sheet for around $60. Not sure what you require. A week I could see..
Do you want a tunnel with corners or rounded?

I guess it was $600 plus the week that put me off.
It was actually is 16ga., and yes he was going to round the corners and make it look kind of like the original................said he would do it out of one piece rather than weld patches together.
I'll go out this afternoon and see what I can do before I throw in the towel.
I'm ok with fab'ing frames and stuff from bigger gauge, but when it comes to smaller stuff I just don't cut it.

Will be intresting to see.. One piece could be a chore unless he's done a few. I have a little experience with sheet metal but it always ends up not quite what I had intended lol.. Quite often I pay the other guy.
