Well I fixed the leak again...

Above repair helped as it's not leaked as badly, but I found the metering block was leaking from the plug that was inserted after accelerator pump passage was drilled... Drove a small punch into the plug(more like a aluminum BB), and that apparently stopped it...

I reset my shade tree front end alignment...

I wasn't sure it would be "alignable" so I measured Brian's Maverick that had just came from alignment shop and found it's wheels were approx ½" forward of mine, so cranked on the strut rod adjustments till they roughly matched... Dayum what a difference!!! Is much more stable and eliminated most of the bump steer, now doesn't try to change lanes when I back off from a WOT punch at 50-60 MPH...

Once warm weather finally arrives, I'll take it to the shop for a proper alignment...

Got a bunch of Misc stuff from Melvin's.

Went to Eddie's to see the car. The early rear valence does not line up very well with the 74 quarters (valence seems too narrow). Working on getting a better fit with a touch of filler.

I've been watching some leaks hoping they would go away. I'm thinking this is a bad Maverick day. Oil continues to drip from the tranny bell following a 10 minute run a month ago (that should stop since the oil level should be below the seal, right?), some oil still dripping from under the front harmonic balancer and coolant continues dripping from the radiator. This is a brand new rebuilt engine and new aluminum radiator! I was hoping I could finally have a car that I could park without leaving my mark.

Don't feel too bad, I have a coolant leak somewhere either behind the water pump or timing chain, new stroker engine with 10 minutes run time.

I pulled the low level oil sensor out of the oil pan and threaded it for a 1/2" pipe plug. it has seeped since day one. then I found out I could have bought a metric plug to have replaced the sensor...:slap:
