Made a new wire harness for the engine bay. Not stock, but it will look much cleaner. Only the wires I need and just down down the passenger side this time.

I like that idea a lot! I have my dash off and fenders off, a great time to find a hidden route outside the engine bay. No need to penetrate the firewall. I think that there are only 3-4 wires I need to run into the main upper engine bay. Waterproof the wires under the fender with silicone tape and put in a plastic flex conduit. I'll let you know if I do this.

Pulled an aluminum driveshaft yesterday, not bad for $20.00, it came out of a Ford Aerostar, I had to have one shortened anyhow so why not go with aluminum.

Inside the fenders...inside bent and polished tubing was my thinking...could always bend it then cut a wire channel into the tube for access to a single wire...

I dropped the gas tank that has about 1/4 tank of nasty gas, filled in the trim holes and antenna hole on the passenger side fender and removed a few leafs to sit the back down and see where I want the ride height. Being I will either go torque arm or a link type rear that was just an experiment but once it was off the stands I really like where it sits. Once the suspension becomes the project of the week I'll be ordering a set of drop spindles for sure!

Got a little closer to getting the right tune on the engine, tried another Holley carb I had, went to open the carb up to clean it and it was cleaner than the one I was running, I bought it used a few months ago, waiting on Monday!

It's official, I'm routing my main wire harness outside the engine bay. Much left to do, but you get the idea from the picture below. I'll have to rework some of the harness I made yesterday, but I'm used to rework. Thanks for the idea JoeB, just in time!
