Replacing front suspension! Played the zerky zerky game with the upper control arm. After wasting a few $ on 90 degree zerk i got at parts store and they did not work. I decided to just drill access holes in tower.

It is a challenge to say the least. Replaced all mine a couple of months ago. Why did you drill holes in the tower?

Just Incase you ever decide to do it again this is the correct style that you will need. Not horrible to put on if you have nimble fingers. https://www.jegs.com/i/Scott+Drake/...MIzs3ZnLvI5wIVLiCtBh37FwDsEAQYASABEgL4ePD_BwE

Naw I don’t get offended too easily lol I took it as a joke. It actually came with the front and rear glass. It’s sad because the front glass is a aftermarket one that was perfect until a month ago when his dad dropped a box on it :hmmm: The rear glass is perfect. The car is pretty rotten though, the cowl is gone and so is the floor boards. The quarts are ok at best but the trunk and front fenders are fantastic.

I saw those last night during my search and should have just order and waited but i wanted to get moving.
I saw post of guys drilling holes.

    Besides
Fedex and UPS truck been to my house about 20 times this year already. Gotta give them drivers a break.

And My 9 toes are more nimble than my 10 fingers.

Get a body plug and just plug the hole that way it isn’t glaring in the engine bay. The previous owner of my car cut holes in mine and that is what I did.

some we've seen around hear the holes were as big as the bottom of a pop can...:slap:
Jeff has a couple of pics. of one set.
I did the drill and plug way on one car, zerk fittings on one and rack and pinion on the last one.

I have seen them where it looks like they used a chainsaw to access those zerks!

Adjusted the automatic choke. Found that when I took the choke apart last time, I missed the loop in the bimetallic spring with the linkage...no workie! I also got a window crank from O'Reilly's. The one on the drivers side broke. Good to go now!!!

Been there done that, I now turn the choke spring back and forth so I can see it moving the butterfly.

went to Summit today and picked up a new style fuel reg. for my new Pro Flow 4 EFI system. it mounts to the fuel rail w/return port. it's a fixed 58 psi. and has a vac. port to slow the fuel pump down (lower pressure) at idle.
    .... Edelbrock 17401
will finish removing the adjustable reg. and plumb the new one tomorrow.

    also picked up the throttle cable I ordered from O R. it's a stock Mav./Comet style one that's 3.75" longer...Pioneer CA-8431.

Found out my buddy is pretty darn creative. My neutral safety switch is on the column and when adding the floor shifter he would have to either swap out the C4 shifter arm or lock the column. Instead he modified a cable shifter bracket that bolts onto the c4 shifter arm to take the floor shifter rod all while keeping the column shift assembly to allow the neutral safety switch to be engaged. I’ll have to get a picture next time. Might be a good mod for those who can’t find a factory double sided c4 shift lever.
