Bolt down rockers are positioned by fulcrum, no guide plate necessary.

Gonna be nice when you,re done. I,m now realizing how light these cars are. Minor changes makes a difference.

Knocked the spring perches off the rear axle with a hammer. Whoever "welded" them on should stop and sell their welder. their welds were like shooting rubber slugs at a tank, no penetration. As soon as my new perches show up I can move forward with the installation.

What is your power steering bracket from? I have a saginaw pump on mine, but my bracket probably weighs 20 pounds. was off a 78 van.

My pump is also off a Ford van, the bracket is a aftermarket piece Borgeson 802409.
I’m going to make a bracket that goes from the front of PS pump to the water pump to make sure it doesn’t wobble around.

I’m always surprised at what I find while rummaging around in the garage.

Part 1 - Filled up comet at gas station first time since poor man restoration. 81 year old guy at next pump went on and on about how nice car looked and memories it brought back. Sweet!!!

Part 2 - I filled up tank and on my way on nice little cruise. I got snucked up on by guy i knew in 5.0. He,s taunting me with 4 barrel i just installed. I downshift to 2nd gear and ease into throttle and pulled away. All in 2nd gear on 3.00 gear.
Much credit goes to summit k3600 cam.
