I have a couple of these. They are pretty cool. They go foward and reverse and you can steer them.

Sweet! It's funny how the Japanese make our cars, and they did so abundantly!

Not to many american model companies ever made them, though there were a few companies that did.

I dont know. At around $641 an once, a Maverick is worth $30,768,000. Yea, I guess I'd sell my Sprint for that.

Dennis, I finally got another one of the metal mugs with the clear bottom. I had to pay, like, $60 for it! Ouch! Of course that's not as bad as what I paid for the NOS Drag-N-Fly junk and a 6-cyl tri-power setup! Ha, ha, ha. I don't have one of the assembly manuals Dan has. I noticed in one of the other posts, Tom had at least one model I had never seen before. Did anyone else see the prototype Hot Wheels Mighty Maverick on eBay that was used for tampo design? It went for BIG bucks! And a prototype JL Zinger that also went super high. I have two 10'x20' Maverick billboards that would be up there for rarity, and I've only seen a few of the 1:18 scale Maverick models. I once saw a Hot Wheels Maverick "coin" (not the little button that came with the original Red Lines) that was some kind of prize or something. It was on eBay a few years ago and is the only one I've ever seen. It was taken off before the auction ended. Shawn Simpson has what has to be a prototype grill emblem that was probably for a factory show car or something. I'd LOVE to have that! The little Maverick magnets that seem to have been given away in 1970 seem to be pretty rare. I used to think the Maverick jackets in a can were rare until that one eBay seller sold a boatload of them! I guess it shows there is still stuff out there. The tin police car in another thread seems to be pretty rare too. I'm sure I'm forgetting some other stuff. Oh, the broach is pretty rare too, as are the bolo ties that apparently Dan has three of!
