Wheel Well Mouldings

    Does Any One Know If The Wheel Well Are The Same For A 2 Door And A 4 Door Car. I Know The Front Will Work. Just Not Sure About The Rear Wheel Well

    I know from using the 4dr quarters for patch parts, that the radius is not the same

    Actually....I would have to say they are the same. The only real way to tell would be to look up part numbers.

    Pretty sure they are different. My parts book only goes to 1972. 4-doors were not available with wheel opening molding in 71 or 72 so I don't have a part # to verify they are different.

    I looked in my Mitchell Crash Book for 1970-1975. It only shows one part number for a rear wheel lip molding: DODZ 6229164-5A

    If I remember correctly the aftermarket quarter patch panels used to say they could be used on a four door but must be cut down. So I would agree that the opening molding is the same.

    Forgot about the crash sheets. I have a set that covers all years up to 1977 ... like Craig said it shows 2-door and 4-door to have the same 1/4 wheel well mouldings. What are different are the front mouldings .... small bumper is different than big bumper ...
