10' rear tires will be a problem, I had them on mine for years, they will work, but be prepared for rubbing and cutting of the tires on the car in places. Ride height can cure some of this. Also, the diameter of tire has a major influence. 9" is much more user friendly.

i dont know why my dad wont let me slam the front, i am not parcel to it because of clearance, and i plan on going to a small bumper conversion with front spoiler.

if i get the front slamed i will be affraid of screwing somthing up, the roads were i drive alot are not gravel, but are uneven and filled with pot holes. a guy i know, put a hole in the oilpan of his ricer and ripped the front clip off and he had the back dropped 2 and front 2 and 1/2.

Ok, Ok. I know i am being a pain for you guys, and these stupid questions. Thanks for answering them tho.

Here is one that i gave some though because the wheels that i would enjoy having in possestion is the Cragar 441. but they only have 15X8, and 15X10 wheels. I was thinking that i could get the look i want (I want the wheels to line up with the edge of the body). could i just get an 8 inch wide, and get backspacing that will make it give that look. do you think that this will work.

I dont know if a 4 1/2 will rub. do you think a 10 inch wide wheel, with 4 1/4 inch bs wheel will not stick out

I have 17x8 on the front with 4.5 backspacing & they fit fine. I think that a 15x8 would be the same but i'm not sure. There are some pics in my gallery.

I have 295/50R15s on 15X8 rims with a 4in back space on the back of my car and they do not hit the springs and they line up with the outside of my fenderwells. Here are some pics of how the tires fit.

I also have air shocks on my Mav, but just untill I can get a set of springs mad to keep the ride height that I have now.

Do you have the Gabriel Air Shocks on the rear, because i do.

And you gave me the right dementions that i need, 8 wide, 4 inch backspacing. Thank you.

What type of wheels do you have FordMaster169?

They are made by Pacer, they are called soft 8s. 15X8 in the rear and 15X7 in the front. Very reasonable priced. The tire store I work at sells them for $48.99 for the 15X7s and $50.99 for the 15X8s. plus $5.00 ea for the center caps.
