Actually, that is a very serene looking environment, and I wish I was there right now...

I think the point of the thread wasn't the scoops, wings and stickers themselves but rather the lack of ass the car actually has compared to what it appears to have. A ricer to me is a Jappo boxcar with all the scoops and ridiculous bodykits, colored engine parts and expensive tires and rims with a huge stereo and no serious speed equipment past a bottle, an "R" emblem and a fartcan exhaust tip. They look tough but they are anemic and noisy. Thats a ricer.

If this Celica has no engine mods to back up the look it's a loser in my book. A pretty loser but a loser none the less. That being said I would STILL drive it and enjoy the stares. But thats more because I have bad taste in accessories than my respect for the car.

    I'd rather have this car:

I keep viewing the pics of these cars and, for the life of me, don't see what is wrong with them...

They look an awful lot like my car...

    As I said earlier...

That certainly did take a lot of work. I expected to see a rear wheel drive conversion.
It must be absolutely horrible to drive, but they did a nice job of making it look the part.
I would laugh at it if I saw it in person, but I can appreciate the craftsmanship that went it to it.

Actual rear drive CRX dragcar. I had a clip of it running on my old PC. Pretty scary looking and sounding.
    Not a ricer.
I also like the first red car posted. I can appreciate it.

I have a feeling that I would still be at the starting line revving it up way after these guys have passed the finished line...

Dale and I followed one home from the store yesterday and we were wondering what it woud look like with slicks and crazy ground affects. Maybe juice up the motor and get it to go over 80 mph.:)

I like different stuff. A lot of it is not my cup of tea but I still like it.
